The NASM Women’s Fitness Specialization (WFS) program is something she has been interested in doing since becoming a personal trainer. Sarah has had the pleasure of training female clients ranging from adolescents to seniors and several pre and post-natal clients throughout her training career.
Sarah’s affinity for fitness started at an early age. She recalls reading health magazines and watching the latest videotape workouts fascinated by the training plans. While in school, she started cheerleading and was first introduced to the weight room as part of their summer strength and conditioning. At that time, it wasn’t the societal norm for women to lift heavy weight so this was new territory for her in comparison to the magazine workouts she had previously always referenced. Strength training provided tangible goals she had never experienced before. She learned to focus on the weights on the rack instead of the weight on the scale. Sarah attributes this first exposure to strength training with her enthusiasm for it today.
Years later, she went on to cheer at Oral Roberts University as a Division I athlete where she obtained her degree in Mass Media Communications. Her passion for health and motivating others continued to grow despite initially going into a non-fitness field. Ultimately she knew personal training was something she needed to pursue. She obtained her certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and is eager to continue learning the latest in training techniques.\n\n[/cs_content_seo][/cs_element_column][/cs_element_row][cs_element_row _id=”7″ ][cs_element_column _id=”8″ ][cs_element_text _id=”9″ ][cs_content_seo]In her spare time, Sarah has completed dozens of endurance events including triathlons, half marathons, and century distance bicycle rides. She implements physical activity in her daily life and hopes to show others through a balanced approach they can learn to love exercise. Her ultimate goal is to be a driving force on the proactive side of fitness demonstrating to her clients that by taking time to prioritize their health they can prevent many complications later in life.

Outside of the gym, you may spot Sarah riding her bike or behind a camera as a production team volunteer with NORTH Church. She resides in Edmond with her husband Robbie and lab-mix Rowdy.\n\n[/cs_content_seo][/cs_element_column][cs_element_column _id=”10″ ][cs_element_image _id=”11″ ][/cs_element_column][/cs_element_row][/cs_element_section][cs_element_section _id=”12″ ][cs_element_row _id=”13″ ][cs_element_column _id=”14″ ][cs_element_text _id=”15″ ][cs_content_seo]In all things, consider others as more important than yourself.\n\n[/cs_content_seo][/cs_element_column][cs_element_column _id=”16″ ][cs_element_social _id=”17″ ][cs_element_text _id=”18″ ][cs_content_seo]Follow Sarah on Instagram
